The Perfect Place
to Retreat

Casa Mariposa Azul boasts a modern and minimalist design, complemented by a 450-square-foot yoga pavilion that offers breathtaking views of the ocean and jungle. Enjoy the 40-foot-long lanai, complete with hanging chair hammocks—a perfect spot to grab a pair of binoculars for birdwatching.

The property also boasts a lap pool with a seating bench that runs the entire length of the pool. Adjacent to the pool is an outdoor rancho with a covered roof for shade, as well as space for outdoor dining and an outdoor kitchen. Other amenities include internet, a washer and dryer, air conditioning, a poolside lavatory, and a poolside shower room.

This retreat offers an intimate, small-group experience rather than a hotel-style getaway. With just eight women sharing a home, meals, and daily practices, it naturally cultivates trust, connection, and a sense of being truly seen. Shared spaces invite meaningful conversations and genuine relationships beyond scheduled sessions. This setting allows for deeper connection, personalized support, and a more transformative experience.

THE JUNGLE ROOM

The Jungle Room invites you into a lush, calming sanctuary inspired by the vibrant textures of the tropics. Featuring a luxurious king-size bed, this room is adorned with deep green, blue, and soft gray palm motifs throughout.

Features:

The Jungle Room features a spacious Costa Rican king-size bed that can be arranged as either one king or two twin beds, creating a flexible and comfortable setup for couples or two guests sharing the room.

This is a ground-floor room with a shared bath.

THE AQUATIC ROOM

Inspired by its pool view, this room is furnished with hues of cool blues and greens, featuring a beach theme. Fun, bright, and colorful

THE BUTTERFLY FLAT

Inspired by the blue morpho butterfly, this room is decorated in shades of white, purple/blue, and mint. This room offers stunning views of the old-growth forest and the ocean.

This is a shared room with two additional guests up in the hummingbird perch
Shared bath

Located on the lower level of the upstairs living quarters.

HUMMINGBIRD PERCH

View Room

The Perch is the most fun sleeping quarters in the entire house and the most enjoyable. Reserved for the adventurous ones who are not afraid to climb a ladder to the top loft of the house! This loft will reward you with fantastic ocean and jungle views, making you feel like a hummingbird hovering in the air.

THE GROUNDS

Regenerative Fruit Forest

Set on a 3.5-acre bluff with rolling hills, old-growth forest, and distant ocean views, the land has been transformed from a former logging site into a thriving regenerative fruit forest.

Using permaculture techniques over 100 tropical and common fruit trees have been planted. This method promotes plant diversity, natural soil enrichment, and sustainable growth—creating a self-sustaining ecosystem that gives back year after year.

Guests are welcome to wander the grounds and harvest ripe fruit during their stay, experiencing the land as nature intended.

Our fruit forest is a thriving permaculture ecosystem with roughly 100 trees spanning 18 varieties of both common and exotic tropical fruits.
