Arrival
Welcome to Casa Mariposa Azul, a place to re-wild, reconnect, and expand yourself.
Savor refreshing drinks, delightful appetizers, and a light lunch, all leading up to an enriching meet-and-greet and ”Q & A.”
Embrace your new surroundings and space, the air, the land, and the animals all around you!
A Day for Grounding and Renewal
After a long journey, today is your opportunity to rest and rejuvenate. Awaken your body with gentle yoga, followed by moments of meditation and reflection. Soak in the serenity by the pool, find inspiration in a hanging chair with a good book, or take the time to birdwatch and explore the grounds, discovering the fruits nature has to offer, and take your pick.
As a nurturing welcome, massages will be offered to those who desire one, allowing you to relax and arrive fully into retreat space.
We will conclude the day with a breathtaking sunset beach excursion and a rejuvenating swim, followed by a delicious dinner and closing meditation.
Dive Deep within Yourself
You will start the morning with energizing yoga and meditation. Then find yourself on a transformative journey to visualize and manifest your ideal life, engaging in a transformative group life coaching session:
~ Living Into A Values-Driven Vision ~
Unlock your deepest desires and tap into the driving force behind them. In this reflective workshop, you will be guided to craft a long-term vision for your life, articulate the personal values that are most potent to you, and hone in on short-term goals you can actualize in honor of your vision + values. Leave with clarity on what you want and what it looks like to live aligned with your values.

In the afternoon, take a moment to reflect on the insights you’ve gained, embrace the beauty of the beach, relax by the pool, or seek adventure through a *horseback ride or *surf lesson.

Ocean Adventures Day
We will spend the day on a local panga for fun and exploration.
Depending on the conditions, we will choose one of the following two adventures:
Shoreline Paddleboard Adventure
Get ready to experience one of Costa Rica's hidden wonders – Piedras Blancas National Park! This breathtaking wilderness, situated near the coastal town of Golfito, is a testament to the natural world's stunning beauty.
WILD OSA PENNISULA
King Louie Waterfall Hike and Wildlife/Beach Adventure
Boarding a boat in Pavones, we will cross the Golfo Dulce, landing on the black sands of Backwash Beach. The Osa Peninsula offers a plethora of wildlife encounters such as monkeys, sloths, and particularly notable for Scarlett Macaw sightings.
A Day for Artistic Expression & Visionary Projection
Begin the day with heart-opening yoga, meditation, and reflection. Then we will head to the beach for a morning of painting:

A guided painting experience to bring your values and vision to life on canvas.
In the afternoon, book an optional one-hour life coaching session with Eliza (2–6 pm), a PCC-accredited ICF coach with over 15 years of experience.

Prioritizing Your Values (and Cutting Out the Noise)
This one-hour workshop helps you clarify priorities, identify aligned actions, and leave with a framework to sustain your vision beyond the retreat.
Jungle Adventure /Punto Banco Beach Excursion
Once again, this is weather-dependent
For today’s adventure we will do one of the following:
TISKITA LODGE GUIDED PRIVATE NATURE RESERVE
Walk and Pools Adventure
Located in serene Punto Banco, this informative nature walk will take us through various jungle canopies, where we will identify several types of flora and fauna.
OR
SECRET RIVER HIKE
Ancient Sea Fossil Hunt and Natural Pool Adventure
On this adventure, we will hike alongside a secret river known for ancient reptilian and aquatic fossils. After fossil hunting, we will then soak in a natural pool, enjoying the songs and calls of birds from up above.
Friday Night after Dinner
CACAO CEREMONY AND/OR ECSTATIC DANCE
Cacao Ceremony ~ This event is rooted in ancient Mesoamerican traditions. During the Cacao Ceremony, you will enjoy a specially prepared form of liquid cacao (raw chocolate).
Ecstatic Dance ~ Ecstatic Dance offers a platform for self-expression and emotional release through carefully curated music, allowing your mind and body to reach a transcendent state.
Last Full Day
It's a bittersweet moment as your journey draws to a close. Take time to cherish the connections you've made and the adventures you've experienced. Reflect on how you've grown and expanded your horizons. Embrace the feelings of calm and joy that accompany this transition. Above all, be thankful for this transformative experience.
Today starts with a warming and grounding sunrise yoga and meditation session, where we'll practice closing this beautiful experience with a final reflection. Afterward, we will visit the legendary surf town of Pavones to explore the Saturday Market, featuring Indigenous textiles, local arts and crafts, and a variety of homemade clothing, beauty products, and foods.
Saturday Evening Festivities ~ For your last evening, enjoy live music and a delightful banquet that includes an abundance of seafood, fresh salads, flavorful sauces, local vegetables, exquisite fruits, and mouthwatering desserts as we celebrate our final night together in this beautiful paradise, ending in a circle of celebration.
